Our Philanthropies

Alpha Zeta Chi has partnered with Aggieland Humane Society to become part of the Humane Team. Aggieland Humane Society is one of the few animal shelters located in the Bryan/College Station community. The mission of Aggieland Humane Society is to provide care and placement for stray and unwanted animals. It is our shared goal to promote the human-animal bond and responsible pet ownership to enhance the quality of life for the people and the animals in the College Station/Brazos County community.

 

Alpha Zeta Chi works along with AGHS to care for the animals in their shelter from fundraisers and adoption events to volunteer work. Our work also helps improve the AGHS facility so that more animals can be helped and eventually find their forever homes.

 

Alpha Zeta Chi is also partnered with SARC, the Sexual Assault Resource Center here in Bryan, Texas. This year, we are hosting multiple philanthropy events to raise money for the local Women's Health Clinic. We will also get to work with them directly on various tasks through out the year!

 

Alpha Zeta Chi also annually volunteers for The Big Event, Habitat for Humanity, participates in the College Station Adopt-A-Street program, and is involved in many other service activities throughout the year. This is the perfect organization for any young lady with a passion for service!
